The Role:
This post sits within a project team responsible for the management and delivery of an Oil & Gas Development Project situated West of Shetland in the UKCS. To support the SPS Manager & SPS Team in the technical execution of the contract, to ensure the project deliverables are in accordance with the Contract, TEPUK SHE Management Procedures and Project Schedule.
Key responsibilities in this role are to verify suitability of Completion/Workover system equipment for the selected rig, identification and resolution of interface issues, including delivery of additional equipment as required

• Responsible for Workover System technical aspects of the project, from detailed engineering to handover, and accepts responsibility for actions.
• Demonstrate commitment to SHE through Personal Safety Performance Contract
• Pro-actively manage the contract Scope of Work
• Pro-actively liaise with Technology, Drilling, Operations, Sub-Contractors, Vendors and certifying agency teams on all aspects of the project
• Actively contribute to the resolution of interfaces, especially for drilling & completion
• Prepare and present Technical dossiers
• Control and approve, when appropriate, the specifications, requisitions, design procedures, calculation notes, design reports, layouts, general arrangement drawings and P&IDs
• Ensure deliverables will meet Quality Requirements and adequate Quality Surveillance is implemented
• Manage and Coordinate Quality Control Inspectors
• Coordinate mobilisation of subsea equipment & tooling for Drilling & Completion operations
• Assist with the preparation of the testing and pre-commissioning activities
• Supervise Workover System Stack-up Test and act as Company Site Representative.
• Positively represent the Company at Contractor premises, sites and on vessels if appropriate, during offshore construction, as and when required
• Develop effective and constructive relationships with Supplier representatives in a manner that enables a high level of value to be obtained
• Report and inform of any potential problems in a pro-active manner
• Continually seek learning opportunities to further their technical capability and openly share knowledge with other team members

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification :
• Degree in an appropriate technical discipline
• Project management experience (planning, cost control, contracting)
• Strong knowledge of Company, Group and statutory policies and procedures in relation to engineering, technology and project management
• Strong knowledge of Subsea Wellhead / XT / Workover System facilities design, testing, installation and operation with offshore experience gained in the North Sea
• Ability to represent the Company both internally and externally at a senior level

 Marine operations using Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
 Drilling & Completion operations
 Techniques for managing multiple third party interfaces to a project
 Government regulations for notifications, authorisations, permitting and consents required for offshore operations
