Fircroft Red Nose Day 2013

In honour of Red Nose Day (Comic Relief) there are a whole host of fundraising activities going on across the UK. The UK Fircroft offices have been involved in a variety of activities to raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Comic Relief is a UK charity that works hard to support some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world – their goal is to strive for “a just world free from poverty”. To drive change, Comic Relief award grants to organisations that help individuals and communities, they have supported many projects that have improved people’s long-term future. Continued fundraising for Comic Relief raises the much appreciated cash needed for these valuable projects.

Fircroft Employee dressed up for Red Nose Day 2013 Fircroft employees put on their red noses, fancy dress costumes and dressed in red to support this year’s Red Nose Day. Steve Whiston, Recruitment Manager, dressed as an aeroplane pilot says; “We have had a wonderful day, this is a fantastic opportunity for the Fircroft offices to come together and raise money for this valuable charity”. Many employees also took part in the “bake off”, bringing in cakes and treats to be sold for a donation. In total Fircroft raised over £1500 for Red Nose Day 2013.

Raising over £1500 for Red Nose Day is a fantastic achievement, thank you to everyone at Fircroft who has got involved and contributed in some way”.
