We are delighted to announce that our office in Alberta, Canada has successfully met the criteria for the SGS Integrated Management System (IMS) audit.
This is the first time the office has been assessed against the requirements of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. The audits took place in February and involved a series of checks on Fircroft’s records and recruitment processes. The office was recommended for certification for the three international awards.
Martin Fiddler, Fircroft Quality Systems Manager, said: “This is a great result for Fircroft and we are extremely proud of what has been achieved. The new certifications will allow us to service the increasing numbers of clients and contractors we now have in Canada. Standardising our processes means we can realise our commitment to providing a global service, delivered locally.”
The audits highlighted excellent record keeping and a well-controlled recruitment process. The IMS accreditations recognise Fircroft’s high level of professionalism and commitment to the services we provide to our clients both in the UK and overseas.
Johnathan Johnson, Fircroft CEO, said: “Canada has always been an important country for us and as the oil and gas industry continues to grow we are looking to invest in our ability to service a growing client and contractor base in the country.”
