We are pleased to announce that Fircroft has moved to new and larger offices in Kazakhstan. Having been in the country for over 12 years, moving to the new office is a real statement of our intent as we continue to invest in our Kazakhstan operations and look to grow our presence in-country, with the continued local service delivery to both our clients and contractors.
To assist with future growth of our Kazakh business, we are also pleased to announce two new members of the team: Graham Wood joins us as Country Manager, and Stewart McCormack as Tengiz Branch Manager.
Graham brings with him a wealth of local and international experience in the recruitment industry after first coming to Kazakhstan in 1993 to work on the TCO project in Tengiz. Over the last 20 years, Graham has been involved with a number of companies at Senior Management level, with the last 7 years in the recruitment industry. He has been based in Aksia, Atyrua and Aktau, working with all the major oil and gas companies operating in the region.
Stewart McCormack has almost ten years’ experience working in Kazakhstan, and has worked on site operations management in the Tengiz oil field from 2006 – 2010. Stewart has now relocated full time to Kazakhstan holding residential status and is able to connect comfortably with Kazakhstan locals, as well as expats working in Kazakhstan of all nationalities, ages and corporate status.
We wish both Graham and Stewart the best of luck in their new roles.
