2017 was a great year for Fircroft as we embraced the increasing confidence in the Oil & Gas market in Australia. Furthermore, we targeted ourselves to diversify our markets opening doors in to the Mining and Infrastructure sectors across Australia.
Over the past 12 months Fircroft Australia's contractor headcount has continued to grow month-in, month-out.
In the past 12 months we have seen our contractor headcount grow month-in month-out and in turn offer our candidates a broader range of projects and opportunities. So many of our contractors have transferrable skills and we wanted to embrace their flexibility and support them in gaining employment across a wider client and project base. As the market continues to tighten, this flexibility to work across multiple sectors will only increase as projects compete for resource.

The resources sector is an exciting industry to be in again and by aligning ourselves with the diversification our clients are driving as well, and through generating new clients, it is enabling us to create even more career opportunities internally within Fircroft too. We are hiring for both our Brisbane and Perth offices, moving in to new larger premises in Brisbane to meet our growth plans and exploring whole new locations within the eastern states currently whilst extending our existing service offerings locally to include RPO and blue-collar recruitment solutions through our acquisition of One Key into the Fircroft Group.
